The attached photos show a tiller arm made by Buck Algonquin in the mid 80's. It goes on a 17 foot Shamrock flats boat. The tiller is badly corroded and needs replaced but is no longer available. It might be repairable by welding or brazing. It's cast but I don't know from what. If a new one was cast it could be made of just about anything, aluminum, steel, bronze, etc. This boat has done it's time in salt water and is now going to be freshwater only.

I might be able to adapt a different tiller but would rather not. Since this is a flats boat there is very little room to work with. This tiller was made specifically for Shamrock and Shamrock is out of business now.

There are a lot of folks on this board who have the capability to duplicate this thing. Can I interest anyone in doing that? Thanks
