Just my luck took it outside to paint, it’s was only 100 today so it should dry well. About 30 minutes after the first coat. It started raining. Guess I get to do it again tomorrow.

    Re: Mobile Tube Bender Stand

Ok let’s have a good laugh, painted the bottom side first, it rained on it 30 minutes later. This morning coated it again. Let it set about an hour. Turned it over, grabbed a new can of spray paint and it’s dead as a door nail. Full of paint no propellant. Well do have some green so I painted the top side in green.

If you can get a class action suit going(assuming this is a trend), you might be able to sue WalMart for the dead can. Of course............you'll only get about 2 cents when the lawyers get done with ya.

It'd be a gamble but I expect you'd get more than $0.02 these days. I got a check for $0.77 from the At&t suit. That's the class action in which At&t was mistakenly collecting tax that wasn't due. But after learning that, it kept the taxes rather than refund them. I expect I paid several thousand dollars in taxes I didn't owe. But, what the hey. lawyers gotta eat too. Just maybe not prime rib.

Purchased this jack to power my tube bender, I’ve spent two hours bleeding the air off the pump and it won’t pump. Called them they didn’t say much about it and have sent me a new one. Here’s the one I ordered

Thanks just wish that ram worked, messed with it for another 2 hours. Tried bleeding the hydraulics again finally got it to pump, could put my fingers on the end of the ram it was nowhere close to 8 tons can hold it with my finger. Just got a bad one, glad they are sending a new one.

Looks like a nice setup. Hope the new jack works better. It sucks to buy something that's DOA.

I got ya beat. We bought 3 rattle cans of Duplicolor automotive paint for something like $80.

Edit: I think it was $80US. About $25 a can plus sales tax (5.5% I think)

Ouch! what if you ordered it from somewhere and got it shipped what issues would that bring? Down here they tack a $20 (us) fee for hazmat on gun powder and primers but Amazon and home depot still have free delivery on cases of spray paint
