    I've done it.

Quick set up, no ground, no gas, plasma with no air, then I get annoyed with myself.

It's simple for me because it is either no ground or no gas. I really hate when it is no gas though.

Ramp up the voltage and frequency until you exceed the dielectric breakdown. Watch out for fires and explosions.

    Pro tip for proper ground...
Fill a metal bucket with sand, insert iron rod and ground to that

I recently slid under a trailer to tack fender brackets. Pulled the trigger a couple times. Looked over and the ground was still wrapped up on the cart. I love getting back up to fix my own stupid.

Simply a matter of voltage. Raise the voltage by four hundred and fifty thousand volts and you will get an ARC. I have seen that happen to other people. Haha

After re-evaluating the picture, the welder has short sleeves, IMO the welder has a safety sensor that will not allow it to work without proper PPE's.

I hate to say it, but I've been guilty of all of those offenses! Those 10 minute jobs don't stop just because it's the weekend and you've got a bbq going on. Hood and closed toes shoes = proper weekend ppe sometimes lol

One glove, t shirt, already crispy in the forearm area, welding on a wooden surface, and the mythical wireless ground, MUST be a pro (not being sarcastic!).

First glance I thought it was SC hisself. Then I realized that guy lacks 68 LBS of pure muscle. I've seen SC. He don't look like that. He could bench press a Chevy 350. I was about to scold him about not taking care of hisself. Only God knows where he got the picture?

Of course, then the amperage adjustment gets a little finicky. "Give 'er another .0000005!"
