it's not about parts that move,,, it's about parts that were moving...about 50 mph while the went past the welder.

Thanks for this thread. I feel a lot better about my non professional welding after seeing this. The sad part is this guy thinks he actually welded rather than shat some molten blobs onto the surfaces of those pieces. I gotta remember that 'quarter inch stick out' trick..

To my way of thinking, these aren't "welds" that failed! Someone has deposited a bit of
CRAP, called it a weld, and there is a failure. No surprise.
