    cutmaster 81 question

Can a Thermal Dynamics CM81 that is listed 460 volt be wired to run on 230 volts? The reason I ask is when I look at the diagram , the input is listed 460 3 phase and 230 1 phase. I will try to link the manual here for anyone who wants to check it out.
Turns out I don't know how to post a link

My CM 52 will run on 208v-460v single or 3 phase.
I use it on 230v single phase.

Look at your tag on the machine. You either get Single or Three phase but not both. There is a 460 volt single phase machine, but it will not run on 208/230 volts

That's the way my 101 and 151 were built. Same family as the 81 machine.

Not my machine, but seen on craigs list. I think that is the manual for the machine in question. All I know is the model number. I am refering to the diagram on page A-6 for the question I ask. Thanks

The 81 is wired from the factory for one voltage and can not be changed by the owner. The 82 can be changed by the owner.
