I will see if I can get on setup for those of us in this area but we will have to find a decent shop space

Ed(Brocolli) says he will bring his Miller Passport, which I would love to give a try. I will bring my Miller Dynasty200DX for anyone that wishes to experience nirvana.

So we can have a mig and tig clinic as well? I will give a demo at "Beer Can" welding as well on my Dynasty. I will bring a full box of cans for anyone else to try.

OK. All your equipment is welcome. I'll put another 50amp in so we can have a TIG and a MIG going. It might be crowded but it'll be a great learning experience for everyone. If you haven't PMd me your email, please do that. I need to have enough food and beverage on hand so I need to know how many are attending.

    Re: Weld-O-Rama

I am in. Wife approved the gas money, the use of the truck and being out of state on my Birthday (9th) and Mother's Day (12). I am going to hit DisneyLand with my baby girl while I am out there! Taking a week off of work to make it out!

I am a diehard Lincoln fan, so don't let those miller guys get all uppity on you jlames!

At least you are able to get guys to show up! Nobody was up for Las Vegas! lol

I have some cool pipes that are perfect for making a welding table out of. They even have floor flanges on the bottoms. I will bring them out and we can do a drawing to see who gets them. Then have them build a table (at a later date and at their own leisiure) and post up the pictures for us! Or they could make 4 grinder stands!!!

    I have extras.

Plus!!! if anyone is interested, I have a chunk of railroad rail that is just itching to become a small anvil project!!!

Man, a drawing would be cool just so I can see what people do with the stuff. I am going to look for a cool surprise item now!

The only hitch is that I am waiting for my boss to approve the time off. I am the only guy on the west half of Arizona and I am on call 24/7. So if he can't manage without me, I can't go.

    Awesome guys!

Looking forward to it. I am bringing my Dynasty200, some rods, and some argon. I can do with 115 volts. I got some hoods too, but they are fixed shade.

I will put together the soda can station for anyone that wants to kill some.

I have tried to do the soda can. I assume that I had bad cans. Because I couldn't do it. I certainly can't be the problem, right?

    ZTFab,
Don't feel bad about your Miller Tig. Someday when you get GOOD at what you do, you will probably want to upgrade!!!

OK. I'm thinking I gotta put in another 50 amp outlet in, even if its temporary. My neighbor, the welder is excited too. Always great to get like-kinded minds together. Should be fun.
