First post, been browsing a while but seemed to get by just by searching for the most part.
I have a Diesel trailblazer that just suddenly quit welding, I saw it welding last week at a job site just fine, and then suddenly its dropped off to me not welding and has no aux power either.
Checked brushes and slip rings, im not familiar with looking at these but this is just what I did from hearing about it on the forum.. The rings look wavy, but for the most part they look fine and very shiny.
There is continuity between the brushes and the rings if that means anything.
The Kubota diesel fuctions fine, idles up and down.
All the fuses that the manual says to check are fine.
Only problem I know I have is that the voltage regulator is not working and not charging the battery. The battery still had enouph voltage to start the unit when I got it, and I went ahead and charged the battery fully and still has no output..
Any help?
