Here's two of our shop rigs.. One is fitted with a bobcat and the other is a ranger 9.. both have plenty of juice to power my powermig setup for aluminum. Both have compressors and are fully stocked with all the essentials.

Re: Let's see the welding rigs

Hey there, bit of a noob question here but on near all of the welders in the pictures have this large round cyclinder looking thing poking out of the front of the welder....what is this thing??? they all seem to differ in size.

Re: Let's see the welding rigs

Before I retired from "portable" welding, I took a bunch of pics of my truck before I stripped it. Sold the truck on ebay. Sold the Lincoln SA200 I had mounted in the bed, and kept the Miller AEAD200LE I had mounted on a rack in front of the Lincoln. I offered Arc, Mig, and TIG portable welding. Did lots of heavy equipment repair right down to the little stuff. Serviced mostly Central PA, but on occasion traveled to MD, NJ, NY for "on site" repairs. Here's a pic of the truck stripped, getting ready to list on eBay. Also, a pic of the last on -site welding job I did. I MIG welded the aluminum tubing that holds the sign to a newer area in Hershey Park.

Great pics and trucks. Its amazing at how many different configurations that can be put together for a rig. All great ideas.

Nice truck! Do you have any more pics of this truck? I would like to see some more pics of this rig and maybe how the boxes are layed out. I like it. I wish I could have a nice clean pipe style rig, but we do so many different type jobs I need a ton of space for tools.

Darned nice rig. Is that your truck, or, a company rig? No insult intended.

Had a Big Rig Welding Truck pass me on the Interstate once. On a Mack chassis. Pretty truck.

That's originally what I wanted when my old truck developed an exhaust leak in the cab. then I came to my senses and realized their was no way I could make the payments.
