add a torch button to syncrowave

I need to do some out of position welds. 69 camaro floor pan.

Can I get a $5 switch off ebay and a 14 pin connector and build one up?

    syncrowave 250 dx

Or should I just use lift start? Do I need to hit the peddle before I scratch start? I have only used peddle for amperage control. Have been reading about 2t 4t

Touch tungsten electrode to workpiece at
weld start point, enable output with torch
trigger, foot control, or hand control. Hold
electrode to workpiece for 1-2 seconds,
and slowly lift electrode. An arc will
    form when electrode is lifted.
Shielding gas begins to flow when electrode
    touches work piece.

I'd personally use a foot pedal if I was doing thin stuff like that. However, if I had my choice, I'd actually use a mig and plug weld the new pan in. If tig is your only choice, then out of position is just an excuse to find a new way to press the foot-pedal.
