Ummmm, 16" throw on the lathe? I don't think so, that's a 12x36 lathe. The mill is a bench model knee mill with what looks like an 8x24 table. Both look like they need some serious cleaning.

If everything in the 4th pic is included, this indeed is a good deal. Tooling is very expensive (but anyone buying a lathe and mill would know that).

Rockwell mill has a 6x26 table. Obviously much more than an endmill
Also, "throw" is a British term for lathe capacity meaning the greatest radial dimension of a piece that can be turned over the ways. Guy has it backward in ad.
    Not a bad deal.

I used to love wood turning but wound up with so little time for it but metal, especially now with the ranch, time turns into savings making tractor and other such parts. I'll start looking. By the way, you were right, of course, about the ShopSmith. It is underpowered for metal work but it'll do until we have the shop building done and I have the space for separate, dedicated tools. It works well if you take everything slow but any heavy drilling and things like that will benefit from a more powerful set of tools.
