Do these ads use flash? If so, you may need to publish a crossdomain.xml file to grant flash access to content on other servers, otherwise it's denied. You might look at the crossdomain.xml file published by doubleclick.net at ad.doubleclick.net/crossdomain.xml. A quick google search for doubleclick and crossdomain.xml returned this page which may help.

Note that Firefox doesn't show the error but it also doesn't display the ads.
