    Miller 330A/BP

Have had my old 330A for over 25 years (and it was old when I got it!) and this is the first problem I've ever had with it. As soon as I turn it on (in TIG mode) the torch is on and will not shut off without actually turning the machine off. I tried disconnecting the remote (foot pedal) and same thing. A relay stuck? Also, one of the capacitors is leaking what looks like tree sap. The capacitor's Miller part number (made by SANGAMO) is 31-602.
Would really appreciate any useful input.
    Thanks in advance
