    Excellent welding video Youtube

    Brothers,

You must check out this hilarious youtube video [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgAThGrCV4A[/ame] from the Phillipines advertising some machine. It is too funny, but after watching, you MUST read all 125+ comments left by real welders. (Just click on the words "You Tube" on the top line of the above video box) Welders have such a great sense of humor. Must read...
    Regards.

This is a Philippine government training video on the latest approved state of the art safety regulations there. As you can see, they are a bit behind us in the area of worker safety. if you look close, you can almost see his corneas melting. You have to read the viewer comments left on youtube to get the full experience,

    Hydro-electric power...

I've seen those welders on Ebay for sale before...I still don't understand how they work though. I researched them a year or so ago out of wonder at them and still don't get it.There are a lot of youtube videos on them though.

I think this is the original invention--- [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bC_tIQG5Rew&feature=related[/ame] and the one on Ebay

The welder is contained in the electrode holder itself...How cool is that?

    Re: Excellent welding video Youtube

I am seriously considering retiring in the Philippines in a couple of years. I was considering taking my welding machines with me and setting up a small shop when I get there.

HOW CAN I COMPETE WITH THOSE TYPE OF WELDERS!!!

All the AC power in the PI is 220 volt, 60 HZ. Don’t stick your finger in a light socket. If they keep using those type of power connections, welder coolers (buckets of water) and the safety gear in the videos, they just might electrocute themselves, burn their buildings down or go blind before I get there.

Has anyone heard from PHWELDER lately? I PM'd him a couple of weeks ago, but no response.

Wow, to think i paid all that cash for a MillerMatic 211 MIG, and a Hypertherm Powermax30 plasma cutter. I just could have bought this and been done. (I already own a ladder to climb my neighbor's roof and steal his electricity, so no new investment needed there.)
