Welding Fume Control

I have several lightly used Lincoln fume extraction arms for sale (#K1655-3). I bought these at auction this summer & have all that I can use in my shop and more. This is the extendable arm and flex hose only - Lincoln sells the suction fan separately. These extraction arms are 8" in diameter, swivel 360 degrees, pivot at a 45 degree angle, extend from 40" to 55", are flexible, and have a damper inside the tube to control flow. Lincoln has these priced at $901.00 on their website, I'm asking $200.00 each, shipping included to anywhere in the lower 48 states.
All you need is a fan source to draw the fumes away from your work and filter or exhaust them from the building. I have an old squirrel cage fan bought for $4.00 at a garage sale on mine. I've attached a few pics and Lincoln's owner's manual. Let me know if you want more information or pictures.

I do have a couple left. They extend from 39.5" to 55", has a damper for air flow control, pivots on the mount 45 degrees, and will swivel 360 degrees. I got mine like that off Amazon. 720 cfm. I ran mine out under the eve to actually evacuate the fumes. This looks more like it just spreads the gunk around, or can't I see that it vents to the outside?

That's the exact motor I ordered last night lol. Does the 8 vent for right into the motor housing ?

Pictures #1 and #2 show the extension from 39.5" to 55". Picture #3 shows about the extent of the bend. The collection head also swivels 360 degrees.

Thanks. I was prob going to hang it like mx727 and have it go into the ceiling then elbow 90 degree to a vent out the back of the garage.

The way Mx has it I can easily move it into position over the table

Yeah, I like the way he's got it mounted. I'm going to try to make a portable one also when I figure a way to support the collection arm. I have a small roll around cabinet to mount a fan in and filter the air running through it. I need some sort of articulating arm to mount on the cabinet to attach the tube to.

Sorry, I've been away for a bit. You are correct, I don't have the rest of the ducting on in the above photos. I do have the ducting, just short on time. It basically pulls down to the table which is just about perfect for where I do most of my work. The fan does mount right into the tubing. I got it off Amazon and they also had the extra ducting and some clamps. The fan came with clamps though, so I really only needed one clamp for the outside vent.
