I inherited a vintage Marquette welder, Model 63. I plan to sell it since I'm not a welder myself but have no idea what's it's worth. It's to big and heavy to put on eBay so I'll have to sell it locally and set a price. Does anyone have an idea what year it's from and what it might be worth. It's in good working condition.

If I saw one down the street, I might give as much as $50. for it, just because it's a piece of history and in good condition. Just like I gave $50. for my 1952 Lincoln AC180C.

You can put a car on eBay, why not that ? Just list it as "local pickup only". Some collector will snag it. Put a $50 minimum and let them chase each other. No Craigs list. One of those fourth world:confused: meth heads will look, break in later and steal it for the copper.:(

Nice looking classic. Have you considered putting it on here in the sales forum? I hope that nice looking piece of history can go to a good home.

Get a size-weight on it and I'll see if I can get it put on a boat from Seattle.I'd like to have it to go with my other outdated stuff.
I'll give a good price if the shipping doesn't kill me. I have a buddy living in Tac who can pick it up.
There will be thousands of acres of Harboring Fright AC'z rotting away and I'll just grin and strike another arc with the old tank.
That was made in America when she still had the A. Probably wrap it in bubble wrap and cram it in a plastic drum ?
See ?
