To install Autocad you need a 32 bit installer (Is3Engine).
Note I try upload the zip file but it limit
I can email the installer or you down load from internet.
You can find Autocad LT on ebay most cost $100 to $200.

FYI I have install my Autocad LT on both my computer and my laptop 💻 both are windows 10 64 bit.
The Laptop twice after move boot side to the hard drive. All works great better than Windows xp 32bit.
I have update copy of Autocad LT 2000 so have to in Autocad 95LT first to install Autocad 2000LT.
Install. I purchased both at full price.

I will have to see how that compares to my draftsight. 'Cause if my 'puter goes or sofwrr updates kill it, then my paid for version of draftsight goes
Then I must upgrade and pay an annual fee.

You may want try DoulbeCAD it work well the free version
DoubleCAD XT v5 - TurboCAD via IMSI Design
    It works close to draftsight
You upgrade to paid version too.

I still preferer AutoCAD 2000LT over draftsight which all three on my Computer , It is 21 years old still working great.
The only down side is 256 colors and if I need more colors, I need to move over to DoulbeCAD and do photo work.
AutoCAD is the fastest cad program.

My work's been using the very reasonably priced and at least moderately reliable DraftSight. I find it acceptable. If you've used AutoCAD you can use this right out of the box.
More CAD programs include free options: https://www.xp-pen.com/forum-6119.html Hope it helps.

I use Solidworks. I may be used to the software by now, but it has many advantages compared to other programs. The main advantage is that Solidworks is parametric. You can create different versions for the same part and use them for the tasks in the project.
