Hey!

New to the forums i have been welding at my votech school for about a year and half now. Recently purchased an older miller thunderbolt 225. Its a 1993 according to the serial number. I am in search for a set of leads because it did not come with any. Also the wrapper is pretty beat up so i was wondering if anyone new where i can find one of those as well.

Thanks and look forward for your input!
Matt

Hey Matt just about any welding supply will have what you need.

You'll have to make up the leads meaning you'll buy the plugs to go into the welder, the cable, the ground clamp and the electrode holder. #2 cable will be good.

39608 should be the part number for the red plugs. That is if your welder looks like this one.

You can get a deal on a lot (2 to 4) of used or new miller plugs on ebay if you dont have to have them right now.
It will save you a good chunk of money if you want to build up long and short sets of cables.

I have bought a bunch from acdc electrical parts on ebay. Best price but I buy longer lengths. He will cut whatever length you need. Or your local welding supply.
