work avaliable
I dunno but a lot of folks seem to get on the web and ask for job leads, a lot of times without really giving any info on who they are, what they can do, equipment/tools/years of experience etc. Most guys out in the field working live and die by their contacts and those are precious to them, they just ain't gonna hand out numbers to folks they may have to get work from in the future. Me included, those are my livelyhood and if I don't know you how can I recommend you for a job? If your a rig welder/pipeliner what have you, you already know the work is word of mouth and who you know. For guys just breaking out or wanting single hand work there are gobs of jobs out there on the internet. If you are only interested in local work depending on where you live that can be tough. There are a lot of sites including various pages on facebook where jobs get posted up. Here is a few that may help some folks:
http://www.roadtechs.com/
www.jobisjob.com
www.glassdoor.com
www.indeed.com
http://jobs.monster.com/v-skilled-trades.aspx
AND
http://www.zhi.com/
http://www.tradesmeninternational.com/jobsearch.html
www.matrixservice.com
If you are looking for local work or shop jobs you can find those too occasionally advertised on these national sites. Things are tough all over folks, you got to go dig up the work, I wish you all the best of luck. Heck I am trying to avoid taking up a doggone single hand job myself right now, worst time of year, but you gotta do what you gotta do right.
Take care
Tommy

Re: work avaliable
Hello!
I work for Riley Power Group and we are looking for another Combo Pipe Welder to join our team that's headed to Wolf Creek in Burlington Kansas next week for a 6-8 week gig with highly competitive pay. You must have 4+ years of welding experience and it is preferred that your last unescorted access was within the past year. If you're interested or know somebody that might be, please visit our website Rileypowergroup.com and select the "Join Our Team" option.
