Welcome Daniel you have a good unit. This is a very good place to learn.
Hi, first post here.
Rank beginner. I just got a used MillerMatic 135 set-up as partial payment for a job, and am learning how. Right now, I'm just messing about with it, but I have a pretty big job coming up and need to get better, so I reckon you'll be seeing lots of my questions here, starting with the one I'm about to post in 'General Welding Questions', so thanks in advance for all your help!
Daniel.

Aloha, all--thanks for the input! My first welding project was a true 'trial by fire'....or arc, I suppose. I built a pair of 8'x8' steel gates from 1 1/2" black pipe, with 3/4" electrical conduit for the pickets. Also, two 4' diameter 'martini glasses' from the same materials, each of which had a young lady sitting in it, complete with olive and toothpick !Talk about a steep learning curve! These were for a local production of 'Miss Saigon', which opened this past weekend. I'll post some pictures when I get around to it.
