It must have taken months of measuring and calculations to achieve such a high degree of success on the first ever try. Nice job, bet your relieved all that work is FINALLY finished, you can now relax knowing it's over with.
About those four inspectors, one had to check to be sure it was at the right height from the floor, the second had to insure it was at the correct angle, the third was to make sure it was offset from the wall enough and the fourth to make sure it wasn't off set too much from the wall. There needs to be one more to come see if it is anchored securely to the wall, so you might not be out of the woods yet.
In addition to the Inspection of Adequecy of Anchoring (I-A-A), there is also the needed Inspection of Grip Dimension (I-G-D) and the Inspection of Grip Extension Beyond Beginning and End of Stair Treads (I-G-E-B-B-E-S-T).
Only partly tongue-in-cheeck, as all of the mentioned 'inspections' actually are or should be checked/inspected. Stairs and handrails and guard rails can be rather picky to do to 'code'. BTDT.
btw Ed, where are the pics of the welds?

Nope, you didn't. It needs to have either a volute or a lambs tongue on each end, or a return to the wall per code, so that it doesn't hang up on clothes? It also needs to extend one tread length beyond the stair in both directions, and remain at the same height above the floor, measured at the tread nose. It should be a stretched Z shape, not straight. It also looks to be 2"+ diameter, the limit for graspability per UbC is 1.5" diameter.
You asked for it.

OSHA Safety Orange - nice touch - you can't be too careful with something that
doesn't come with an operator's manual.
Whenever I build unique projects that has capped ends - I'll throw in a handful
of nut and bolts to make noise if the object is ever removed/surplused.
Hand rails are low hanging fruit.
The idea: is that curiosity will take over, and it will be cut open when scraped.
The nuts and bolts are the lure so the truly 'rarefied' time-capsule contents can
be 'appreciated'.
