    2011 everlast itig250dx tig/stick digital welder

The Power I-TIG 250 DX is a new offering in the line of fully digital welders being released from Everlast. As usual, the IGBT design is the backbone of the units construction, and features DC output for Tig and Stick functions. This unit is designed for industrial and pipeline construction with adjustable hot start and arc force control, it is ideal for running tig root and 6010 root passes with 7018 cap passes with excellent performance characteristics in both TIG and STICK modes. In stick mode, low spatter and puddle controllability are evident as soon as the arc strikes, even with cellulose based rods. TIG arc is stable and smooth with no flutter.
Duty cycle is 60% @ 250 amps for TIG and 35%@ 250 amps for stick (60%@ 200). The I-Tig digital pulse welders will be available in 315, and 400 amp versions as well with similar duty cycles.
It is fully programmable with up to 10 memory programs. As a standard feature, DC Pulse and full featured 2T/4T remote and foot pedal allow complete control over the TIG weld resulting in the highest possible quality welds.

UNITS IN STOCK AND READY TO SHIP !!!!

You don't want that on a welding machine. Trust me.
Analog is better with gloves on AND the digital panel is subject to damage from moisture, dust ,dirt grease, etc. Does not belong in the workplace.

Why do you think the Miller syncrowave 250 is a legend? Analog controls.
The newer machines with stupid digital controls have been a failure as far as I am concerned. It is NOT a computer. They have FAILED.

You may have grown up in a computer world with computer games, but that is at home where it is save and warm and dry and you were not wearing thick gloves and it was dirty and dusty .

And many people are boneheads when banging on those digital buttons.
Some people really pound those digital buttons. No control over the amount of force pounded on those buttons.

Or do you like pecking like a bird.

I like those analog controls on the Everlast machines.
But maybe some people want everything decided for them. Just push a button.

The only place I have seen them is on the internet.
    All beginning welders mostly.
    Where are the stores???
If you have a problem where can you take it to get it repaired?
    Better think about that.

They look ok, but wow if you bought one where could you even ask about any problems?
And what torches will work with it?
A lot of important issues not seen on the ads.
    Where are they manufactured??? Sweden,China???????

if the digital control panels are a fail, i wonder why my ta185 is still going after 5 or 6 yrs? it seems to me they have a pretty good track record with the number of ta185's 200's and 300's sold, i havent heard to much bad about them myself.. i would buy another one with the performance my ta185 has given me.. my ta185 has never left my 2 car garage, and it sits 3 ft from my bench grinder, i have also spilled paint on it by accident, it still works just fine... i think the digital control panel on my ta185 is actually sealed on the front side and encapsulated in a epoxy resin on the backside so that its actually a sealed module..

i cant say for the everlast digital control panel as ive never seen one in person and it is a new product, so i cant compare it to my ta185.

that legendary syncrowave 250 you speak of, a friend of mine bought one a couple months ago, tigrunner package around $4700, had to load it up and take it back because of arc start issues.... after he got it back a week later, it did work fine though..

    any machine can have issues..
