Oh, whoops. I got a nice Dialarc 250 (not as nice and clean as Steve's) for $300. locally a few years back. 1974 vintage, first ones made. BUT I did throw my back out unloading it off the truck. Twisted sideways trying to get around the wheel well to scoot it to the tailgate. Had a pipe through the lifting ring.

$300. co-pay at the ER and weeks of agony. You see fish flopping around when they are caught? I looked like that every time I tried to lay down in bed.

Don't let two 120 pound guys try to bull a 365 pound welder around anywhere. Be safe out there.

So true. I've ripped mine a few times good. I'm in pain most of the time anyways, but extra is never a good thing.

A real nice fella from the UA Local 33 bought it. Was happy to see it go to a good dude who knows how to use it.

I told the ER people that I should have a brain scan for such stupidity, but they wouldn't listen. Bunch of lackeys with no sense of humor. I'd have laughed when I convulsed and almost flipped off the table, but I couldn't breathe at the time. Not one of them laughed and said "Do it again". They need training. Punching the clock, they were.

I got a major operation a few years later at that same hospital. Had a couple cool nurses. And a couple hacks who would have killed me if the Doc hadn't promoted me to a lower level of care.

Anyway, close the thread. Welder sold!

I know I could have asked more, but I wanted to send it down the road.

If I had a steady income coming in right now, I would have been in the $700-800 range. Locally, I would be sitting on it awhile for that tho
