Are you running this off a gen and if you are why don't you just get something like a LN25 from Lincoln. I believe you should be able to run a spool gun directly off the TB or at least with a control box. I like Thermal Arc products and would not hesitate in buying one but in reading some your previous post I'm wondering if your trying to be mobile?

 

Yea you are right, I do want to be some what mobile, but mostly working out of my shop but at lest in my world I have to go mobile !!! So what I want is my cake and eat to!!!! LOL

I own a fab 210 i bought it in august ran 60lbs of wire through it so far i love the thing the local fab shop has a older model never gave them trouble also.

 

The neighbor bought one a year or two back when they showed up for less than 2 grand, they mostly use it on migging 1/4" and up. I don't think they are built in OZ anymore (the older 250 was).

Most of the fabricators were made by cigweld for thermal arc. Cigweld is an overseas division of Thermadyn
To use the 30A you will also need a wc24 or a wc115 control box.
The wc155 is the easiest. but you need 115 volt external supply to run it.
You might be able to power a wc 24 from the 251, If not You may have to add a step down transformer. 240 volt to 24 volt.
Best thing to do is call thermal arc tech support and ask jeff.
