    Potential Darwin award winner

Saw the link to this earlier today on the weather channel. I'm not sure if I'd call this guy ballsy or just stupid. I'm leaning towards stupid myself... I can't even begin to list all the safety things I see wrong with these. Who in their right mind dumps molten alum in water wearing a short sleeve shirt, shorts and sneakers as PPE? At least in the 1st video he's showing himself in gloves and an apron with long pants. At least when the steam explosions toss the molten alum all over the place he stands some chance.

He may not have managed to hurt himself, but this ranks right up there with playing Russian roulette with a semi auto, or juggling live grenades with the pins out. What an idiot.

The watermelon art is kinda cool though, if he'd been smart enough to have proper containment. Got a good looking young blonde in his yard when there obviously wasn't anything else there to attract her...

Similar, but I think this looks pretty cool.

    Has PETA seen this?!!

That's one way to get rid of the little buggers but then my yard would be full of holes.

Hmmmm....if ants are the issue I wonder what would happen if you filled it with melted wax and just left it. LOL...probably help feed the new colony next door!
