10 yrs ago I put a 4bt in a 78 Chevy blazer with a NV4500/NP205/D60/14bff. Loved it. Sold it last yr to a friend. Wish I still had it. Engine all stock just been rebuilt to go in a bread van. Sold all my car toys (got a hummer), took the money and bought a lathe and a mill to work on smaller projects (hence the fnfal308). Friend in Baton Rouge put a 4bt in a wrangler and was getting 40mpg. I only got 25 in the Blazer. Anyway, I'll be watching this thread. But to at least mention welding - you got some pretty welds too.

Just make sure it can flop around as it likes or it will shake that Jeep to pieces. I noticed in an earlier pic that you are using the factory style flat mounts with the single stud through each side. I used those and did not regret it. Kept the vibration down. Also idled it up towards the high end.

Awesome build! Def going to follow. A friend of mine did a mercedes diesel conversion on his yj wrangler. I did the regular 350 chevy on my 1 ton cj7/yj heep build... i would love to do a 4bt cummins in the near future though! Big props!

We added a new machine today, super indexor is for cutting splines on axles shafts and many other jobs, the digital readout is on back order

Machined a new version of the alt mount

New bender showed up

Finished the welding on the hot pipe connecting the turbos and welded the downpipe flange to step it down to 3 inch
