    Grandpa's Bandsaw

    Got this beauty out of my uncles storage, it hasn't seen much use since grandpa died. Anyone here using a similar saw, it's a 14", has a two speed gearbox and the chart inside the door lists 8 blade speeds from 32-4000 sf/m, brass guide blocks, one bearing above, one below. Up to 3/4" blade. The only thing I don't like is the bakelite wheels, one of which is missing it's tire.

    I have a similar one. Someone in the past built a base for it out of angle. Acquired it in a trade, needs work, time and money for it to run. It is a very sturdy machine with the exception of the wheels.
