I worked in Everett MA and lived in Raymond and Seabrook NH in 2002-03 building the "Worlds' Largest Co-Gen". It was a sho-nuff cold spell. I know where you're coming from there. We went 22 days straight down to -22 at night and +10 in the daytime.

That's certainly sounds like no fun. I grew up in Las Vegas. I miss the desert every day.

The weather here mostly is berable, at least when it's not too humid or freezing cold

I've been to Las Vegas a few times on Trade Conventions, always in the summer. It was 110 and I was in a suit and it still was tolerable. Here, 85* and 90% relative humidity and it can take your breath. You can't take off enough clothes to get cool but it's enough to get arrested.

Thanks. I don't actually do the decals. I have a place that does them for me. They do a very good job.

    Just let me know.

Yeah, but I dunno what the setup charge would be. I don't mind helping with that since once it's done, the decal can be remade, but money is pretty tight right now.

I'm guessing around $40-75 on setup and likely $30-50/ea depending on what kind of mood the boss is in.

I can get a rough idea and let you know tho.

I will be having the gold star decal done as soon as I get a little extra money in. I'll see what he will do on a quantity of them and offer them to WW members for just a hair over cost.

When ever you're ready just tell me what you need from me for the Decal package including the name plate on my '72 330 A/BP. I got it cleaned up and working fine. However, I am looking for a couple of .002 mfd mica capacitors. Mine still work but they can stand replacing as they have leaked a little.

Ok. I don't have a set up for the face plate, I'll see what he wants to do one first. Real tight on money so if it's gonna be high we may have to wait a bit. I'll pay for a portion of the setup since once it's done, it's done. I've been in the middle of some rush work and I gotta get it done. I'll get over there and see what they say.

He could make the Airco decals but he would need a clean pic to copy and design it from there. Chances are the setup fee could get pricey. I wouldn't have a clue what they would want to do them. I have to go over there for something else, I could inquire and see what he says anyways.

The Gold Star decals will be available soon. Price will be $5.00/ea shipped for one and multiples beyond the first for $4.00/each

My cost on these isn't much less. Sure not getting rich doing this. These decals will be printed on white vinyl and appear about exactly as in the picture. I can have them done on actual metallic vinyl, but the price would triple.

I'll post up some pix when they're done

Sorry, did this on my phone pix always load sideways.

No, I'm sorry. I do not. It probably wouldn't be cost effective to have him make one either since the setup would be expensive and I don't think I would sell many of them.

Left coast enterprises on eBay sells them, but they're not laminated by the look of it. The lamination increases the life of the decal four fold.

Thanks man. Glad you like. The clear Miller ones were given to me by a rep some years ago. I usually put a sheet in with stuff since I had a ton of them.

Yea. I think they came out real good. I had them do the decal 25" long and reduced the 4" globe decal down to 3.625"

That looked closest to examples I found online. Couldn't find a clear picture to save my life

I'll be in touch soon Scotty. Thanks!

They're $65 for the set. The white Miller globe decals that go above it are $12 a set. The vinyl shop was acquired by a larger company at the beginning of the year. They basically do everything by a formula now. It calculated by setup time, then by area. Before, it was just whatever the boss said.

I didn't get any extras with them either. That's likely going to be a thing of the past now.

Re: Reproduction Vintage Miller Decals- Have A Look!

Here's a few other ones I've had recently done. I'm really going to be making a break from the machinery business in the coming months, but will still do restores from time to time.

The silver Miller decals were for a recent customers machine that was branded as a Sureweld NCG unit. The Miller logo just covered the Sureweld text perfectly.

The Warning decal is custom of my own design, combining the electrical input warning with a notice that the Maxtron machines have manual jumper links. I've wanted to do something like this for awhile, being many ppl assume that all inverters are auto linking machines.

The 10 year decal is also custom for my tenth year in business as a sole venture. Going on 16 all told.
