All my machines are gassers and I run SAE-30 Valvoline oil in 'em, it never gets that cold around here in South-East Texas so it works good for me all year-round. If it's an F163 Continental with a spin-on filter it uses a 51050 Wix.

 

another question on this machine. does anyone have a part number and tempature for a thermostat? Maybe a napa number? the thermostat I removed had V180 so i assume its 180 degrees Thanks in advance
