Thermal ARC 300 series inverter welders

I recently acquired a lincoln ln25 wire feeder and high amerage flux core gun for cheap and I am looking for an inverter powersource to use it with.

Most of the XMT's I see in my area are overpriced at 2000 dollars but I see a few thermal arc inverted powersources such as LM300 300GTS LT300 machines that are much cheaper.

Im looking to spend as little as I can and many of them are in the 700 dollar range which is good for a multiprocess inverter powersource with high amerage capabilty.

Whats the deal with these machines? Are they reliable?

I would look for a MST 300-400.Top quality.. You can find them for deals once, and a while.. I'd have one of those over any XMT machine. LM -300 are good, but one giant board in them, so pretty much throw away if it lets go. The board replacement cost is about the same of a nice used XMT-350..
