Bitch'n scooter Mikey! WTG.
I started helping my friend build this bike when I was out with my foot surgery a little over a year ago. We put no time frame on it and wanted to pay attention to detail on everything yet keep it as simple as possible. We had a motor, tranny and a frame for the most part, anything that was bought got modified and re machined with a lot of brass to accent things differently and for the most part every piece of this bike was made by us or by him while I was at work after the foot recovery. When I say almost everything, I'm not kidding, dam near everything. Well we are finally finished and full assembly is done after some big set backs and some re modifications without hurting anything, and one more bike done for the books! All welding was tigged and couldn't tell you how many hundreds of hours I had into it, but probably close to a 1000 Keystones lol.

What a pretty Shovel
Always liked Shovelheads. Nice ride Mike.
I'm not a bike guy but if I was-that's the bike I would want to own! The craftsmanship shows Mike! You and your buddy put out a top notch ride! Is it for sale
I love the pearl or clear/color mix on top of a turned surface! So many things I see that I love about that bike!
Being a shovel that probably doesn't leak, how do you know when it is out of oil?
Oh, BTW, 1000 beers = 200 hours.
Gravel
The difference between theory and practice is that in theory there is no difference.
Forgot to add, good job on the bike Mike.
I can't understand why anyone would want to ride anything with their arms up above their head..
You would be in major trouble with a sled like that..
Anyway... Looks great if that's what you like...
...zap!
I am not completely insane..
Some parts are missing
Professional Driver on a closed course....

Not sure of the tires y'all have on there, but the rear looks like a directional tire, and going by the tread pattern, it looks backward to me. Are y'all sure you have the tire mounted in the proper direction as determined by the arrow on the sidewall?
Looks almost like it was intended as an off-road tire to me. Post up the brand name and model name. I may want to get one like that for my XR650L.
Awesome ... great job. I also think the beer calculations are off!!!

[QUOTE=weldermike;6251131][QUOTE=Bistineau;6250991]I would appreciate that, so I can look into some for mine when they come due for replacement. You can see a pic of my bike in Off Topics thread Be Careful Out There. That may be a harder compound tire than the knobbies I currently use and might last longer on the pavement, but still give decent off road traction. Looking at the tire on the right side, the arrow will point in a clockwise direction if installed right.
Bikes are not my thing, gotta have at least four wheels for me, but that looks very well crafted.

Wow, you know your shlt !! That looks super, knowing your intelligence, I bet your buddy did the test drive.
I'm disappointed it's not " Keystone Blue " .
As for bikes here's two that I saw on displayed in Vegas. I was surprised to see a belt drive. I'm not a bike guy but admire craftsmanship.
