Brief Site Outage 11/5/2015 11:00AM EST

11/5/2015 at 11:00 AM we will be conducting maintenance/migration that may cause a brief outage.

We are migrating the database servers running vBulletin onto a new server running the current stable release of MariaDB 10.

The site will be in maintenance mode while the databases are migrated between clusters and may be offline for a brief moment during the cutover from the old to new cluster running the stable release of MariaDB 10.

There will be no change to either appearance or function. We are migrating the database for WeldingWeb to new database servers.

The iforgeiron blacksmithing site has been having problems lately with postings and after a recent "upgrade" this week, which turned out to be a "downgrade", the site is a wreck! It's quickly becoming a "read-only" site. They refuse to dump the software provider and use something stable like your vBulletin.
