Help me understand AC Waveform? Adjusting EN & EP independantly on a Dynasty 700 Tig
I had an everlast welder that I have been using for a few years now and got a deal on a Miller Dynasty 700. The machine is complete overkill for me, but I got a good deal on it so I couldn't pass it up.
The question I have is regarding the AC waveform adjustments.
On my everlast I could adjust ac balance and ac frequency, but on the miller I now have an option for En & Ep independently.
So I guess my question is where is a good "base point" to start so I can start making adjustments from there?
Also how do they affect each other? If I have ac balance set at 60 how do the En & Ep affect that?
Also what are the differences between:
Advanced Squarewave
Soft Squarewave
Sine wave
Triangular wave
Thanks!
