Everlast dealers in Mexico?

Hi!

I'm Mexican and live in Mexico. Here we don't have direct access to Everlast welding machines because the company doesn't do shippings to here. However i've found, through the web, a mexican dealer called "metalfabricaciones" who claims to be an official Everlast distributor, but there are some strange things, like he offers only 1 year warranty (although the brand usually offers 5 years).

I'm not trying to blame anyone, but if someone calls him/herself "official distributor", at least the warranty agreements should be consistent with the ones of the brand.

I hope I could receive feedback from any of the Everlast sponsors here. Greetings!

No, warranties vary country by country. Many brands and products feature variations in warranty by country. It has to do with how well equipped the country or region is for repair and the type of conditions it would be used it. etc.

I understand now. Thanks for your response! By the way, which welder would you recommend me for learning how to tig weld, and practicing. I was thinking on the powertig 185 dv. It's AC/DC, and more affordable. Could it withstand my newbie-ness? Or do i need something more industrial? (like the 200 dv).

It would be a good unit to start on. I think the 200DV would be better.
