    Everlast 210EXT

Hey guys, we got a new welder to review from Everlast... well we wish. We actually paid $1600 bucks for it but we just wanted to share what we know about the welder and how well it works.

Before we make some of you mad about what we say or do, just hear use out and give us feed back. If you have questions about this machine let us know and we will get back with you!

We got this welder about a week ago, the reason is so that we can start doing mobile work for BulletProof Tech ( Thats where the money is at ). So we paid $200 less than what you could get it for off amazon due to the sale that they were having! So we jumped on the offer, paid for it and we waited for the brown Santa to come! We got it in less than a week, then we were amazed what came with it. 2 TIG torches, small ground clamp, stick lead, foot peddle ( For tig), and a gas regulator.
    ______ List of Things _________

    9 Series ( 25 foot Torch)
    17 Series ( 25 Foot Torch)
    Stick Stinger ( 6 Foot)
    Foot Peddle ( 15 Feet )
    Gas Regulator ( Cheep)
Ground Lead ( Threw out, made own... Bigger Wire)
    Everlast 210 EXT
    _________________________________

But going off that it was not bad for the money. When we first were looking at this welder we were concerned about the TIG leads only being 15 foot long but the machine we got came with 25 foot leads so all is well! They are also flex neck TIG torches. The stick holder was weak so we went out and got a 300 amp jackson j4 stinger, that was a big help. The next things that is "OK" is the foot Peddle that it comes with. For how much money you spend you would think you would break it, but it still holds up somehow.

So now we have started welding with it and WOW! It does do some good welds for being a chinese made inverter and only weighting in at 40LBS, not something that I want to carry everywhere but not bad. I will say the protective cover it has on the front can be a pain in the *** but a good thing at other times.

But I am not going to go on and on and on about this welder, so I have made some videos about it. Enjoy

Thanks for the video, but the music is awful and overshadowing your comments. Cut it back by 50% and find something a little less edgy. It'll be just as good if not better.

As far as the electrode holder, these are standard Lincoln type. And the torches are supposed to come off like that...that's how they put together. The regulator looks like it got damaged. We'll send you a new one. Just call in and ask.

V.R.D. only is designed to reduce OCV before starting an arc. Doesn't affect operation otherwise.

The protective cover raised the quality of Everlast welders IMO. The shrink wrap would break the main amperage potentiometer during the boat ride before. Mine showed up with the main amperage knob torn half off and just dangling.

Screw Everlast, that's my two cents.

    Gee, Sedanman,

You seem to show up in a variety of Welding Web threads without anything ever being positive or constructive to interject.

Is it just that you're anti-Everlast?

I mean, otherwise, do you even weld anything?

I've never seen a thread where you contributed or shared a photo of a project or example of anything tangible having to do with welding. But, I've been here on Welding web for less than a year, I think.

Anyway, the context of this thread relates to these young, enthusiastic guys who are happily sharing their firsthand experience with their equipment and what they've produced with it.

What do you produce or share with Welding Web members, Sedanman, besides these little Debbie Downer quips?

Honestly, if you're suffering from depression, please get some help for yourself. I sincerely suggest doing it within the next 7 days.
