standard or stubby gas lens....More heat????

I've been using stubby gas lenses on my 17 tig torch. Thought I ordered more of the same, but got the standard size parts. Just wondering, would using the standard parts instead of the stubby parts help keep the torch cooler/hotter because the pieces are much larger and either dissipate or conduct more heat into the torch. Anyone have the answer????
    Thanks,
    Pete

It really don't matter standard or stubby the torch will still get hot.

If you want cool go water cooled. You can run your AHP wide open and the torch will never get hot.

I'm sure with the right testing you may find a difference, but practically, I'd say you won't be able to notice it.
