    Exclamation Sticky Forum...

All those Stickies that have been clogging up the regular forums now have their own forum...

Some useless ones have been given the axe.

So if you are looking for them in their usual place..they were moved and are still intact.

    Let's face it.....
Most of the forums were getting quite crowded so we needed to take action.

    Don't worry.
    You'll get used to it.

Any further stickey threads will be placed in the forum they start in but after awhile they will be moved to the stickey forum.

    That is all.

    ...zap!

    Re: Stickey Forum...

Personally I've never been annoyed by Stickies in the various Forums but I still think the move was a good one and very logical.

    Re: Stickey Forum...

I would have made one thread in each respective forum, and linked them in there, and then closed the thread. That way they stay somewhat organized. But thats just me.

    X2.

I'd have left them in their original place, but created a sub-forum for each section, pinned to the top. All of the stickies for each forum could have gone in there, call it "FAQ's", or something similar. But each section would have its own. One click would open all the stickies pertaining to each forum. As a hobbiest, I tend to use them quite a bit, just refreshing myself on basics of polarity or whatever. Now if I'm looking for Tig info, its jumbled in with the Recipie thread, Religious thread, Aluminum sailboat building, etc.

Agree that many of the forums were getting cluttered and it was time to do something, maybe a work in progress?

BTW, the grammar police suggest theres no "e" in sticky.

    Re: Sticky Forum...

Maybe pull some relevant threads out and put them in their respective forums....

    At some point....

This was quite an undertaking for you Steve. I think it's a great idea. Like anything else. We can always make adjustments if and when the need arises.

Hmmm, did the grammar police note that there's an apostrophe in there's?
Just sayin'...(the login page suggested that I should post *something* since I joined over 2 years ago)
Now I'll go to the intro forum & say hi.

    Bienvenida y presentación

Hola, es un placer estar por este foro de discusión. En nuestros dÃ*as es bastante difÃ*cil localizar sitios de calidad, y este es uno de ellos.

    Re: Sticky Forum...

    Hi,
Newby on the forum here, I can't seem to get any of the links to work: 'contact', 'advertise', etc.
I have invented (Pat.Pend.) a new type of TIG torch and am trying to get feedback from TIG welders and the correct (non-spam) procedure to mention it.
