When the pressure switch contacts burn up it wouldn't be a major task to mount a mag starter controlled by a new pressure switch.

So another compressor question from me.....I was about to pull the trigger on a QT-54 compressor last week from Northern Tool after looking for a used one for a long time; however the 3450 rpm motor had me on the fence after hearing one run in person. The local bomgarrs next to me just started a sale on the QT-5 Quincy with the slower rpm motor at 1725 and lower rpm pump then the QT-54 putting my out the door price at 1800. It is 2000 online most everywhere. My concern is that I noticed it has no mag starter on it and I was under the impression the slightly higher end homeowner units from Champion and Quincy usually do. Is a 5 HP Baldor motor going to be of the same quality on a unit with and without a mag starter? Thoughts
