He would have to come across the Verrazzano and then the Outerbridge. Coming would be free I think but going back to NY you have to pay the 2 bridge tolls. I forget what they are but not cheap...lol

Buy it and make two ! Or make one and sell they other half. It will cost as much for a thinner plate and 5/8 is really nice. 500 pound table is not hard to roll with decent size castors . My woman welder moves her 400 pound one by herself ! She's only a 110 pounds ! :

I'm thinking of making a 55" x110" table, drilling some holes in it and using clamps like these I could really use a tabke like that

Yeah I think it's $30 or something, especially with a trailer which I would need to bring

I could take the tapanzee, and take 287, it's a little out of the way, a little over 2 hrs one way. That's a long haul

I usually take 287 all the way down.... better ride and cheaper.... except for the dreaded 684

the thing I hate is the new cashless toll on the tappanZ

they take a pic and send you a bill in the mail....

then you need to go on line start an account or user name and pay by CC

I long for the days of toll booths and rows and rows of pay phones....

I don't remember if there's tolls on the GWB?
Edit : Looks like there's tolls eastbound only

Yea, but you'll only have the one toll going back. Any time I head that direction, ill take the GSP north to the GWB or Tappanzee and only pay one toll. The Tap has a toll too, was the cheapest of the bunch but it may be different now. I dont even know if the new bridge is open. I havent been that way in a while. And I avoid Manhattan, NYC at all costs...lol. EZ pass should work everywhere

I checked out your webpage, I would bounce over 84 to 684 south and over the Tap to garden state parkway south if it was me. Avoiding the city madness..lol

Re: CRAIGSLIST NJ, 5/8 Steel plate 55x55 $125

I'm tempted to buy like 4 or 5 of them

I priced a 55"x55"x5/8" plate with my supplier this morning and they run $364 per piece, so $125 is quite a savings

So I'm going down on Saturday to grab a couple plates
I think I'm gonna grab 3, I'll use 2 to make one table, and the third will be a movable table, in case I need a 13ft long table or I can move it further away if I'm doing a big staircase or something

Sorry, mine is not for sale. I've got too much time into it with a gridwork of 5/8" holes for clamps like MetalMan23 mentioned. I mostly meant to say that I think it's a great size/thickness for a table.
