ReplyI wrapped the 5/16" stainless rod around a 4" lolly column cut off like a spring. I was huffing and puffing after a couple of twelve footers. I mean like I was afraid a lung was going to come out on the workbench. Haha.

Definitely had to much energy. Years ago I welded a giant chain together to make an archway into a local junk yard. So I know how week welded chain is. But I had some extra energy and they wanted something cute to put mail on. So I said why not. Haha.
I was going to polish it up but they said they like it just like that. I had to say "alright". Haha
