Gas tank cleaner what used?

Planning cleaning 64 red face gas tank it not leaking, going make jig that clamp it to cement mixer throw rock or small chain as Duane suggest with carb cleaner so since not leaking really not wanting use tank sealer ,but rust kill thinking ISPHO? or open to any suggestion, lightly wipe with diesel fuel after cleaning ?

I don't like those tank sealer additives either. They tend to come loose after a few years and really gunk up the situation. I use lacquer thinner and chains to clean. The tank may not be rusty on the inside, so why bother with Ospho? Just put your fuel in and add some of the Startron ethanol treatment to keep the moisture in suspension.

I like to use BBs they are small clean and work.

I give up on the tank liners a few years back after having problems later on also. I ain't going to blame the liner, because maybe my prep wasn't efficient enough. but I've stopped using those products for fuel tanks. As for what to throw in the tank, I use nuts, bolts, chains... just about anything that I'll think will work. I pour in diesel fuel. Most times I'll change the diesel fuel out a few times during this process.

Thanks for all response, planning used diesel fuel wipe down after cleaning with cement mixer tumbling processed ,, now need make jig to clamp onto cement mixer
