    Hello friendly welding folk.

    Hi,
I'm Eric, a hobby welder from the Netherlands. I've been welding for about 10 years and found this forum a couple of month ago.
I mostly build or repair stuff for myself or friends. Stick only. I've done a little bit of MIG/MAG on occasion but to little to be any good at it.
I just love the simplicity of stick welding. I keep a fairly large stock of different kinds of electrodes (6012, 6013, 7016, 7018, 309, 312L-16) but the ones I use most and really like are 7016 and 7018.

    Glad to be here.
    Eric

    Good news.
I passed the NIL (Dutch Welding Institute) level 2 SMAW exam yesterday. I skipped level 1. Level 3 and 4 are on the list, but i have to start saving some mony for those first.
