Looks like TD recently released a Cutmaster 60i-X. Has me wondering if this is why these went on sale a while ago. Oh yeah it looks like they also now have black anodized electrodes with 60% more life expectancy.
I apologize again. Just noticed your PM. Yes I am SW Manitoba The torch with 50' cable weighs 9 lb
I will find out how much to ship. Wish we had some of your warm weather here. It"s - 25 to 30 C Most days

Lincoln, ESAB, Thermal Dynamics, Victor, Miller, Dewalt, Makita, Kalamzoo. Hand tools, power tools, welding and cutting tools.
The sale still goes on here, and there.. The machine only version mostly.. The new machines output puts it right in the range of a Hypertherm 65 or Thermal Dynamics 82..
The standard model is quite good, and the 3 phase a bit better yet.. I just picked up another one for $319.06 after the rebate.. Runs perfect on my 15 hp rotary at full output.
I have been waiting for some nozzle design work before the electrode, but I will take what I can get..

I think I paid $125 for the extra gun I have back when they had all those low prices.

I finally cut up a piece of 1/4” x 8” x 9” into four even rectangles to make feet for casters that will be installed on a welding table. This thing cuts very nice omg. I need more practice but this machine is awesome.

Good to hear you finally got to use it. I can still say this is the best hand cutting unit available of all the plasmas in its class I have ever used, works great on generators also. I need to make a roll bar like the CM52 though, It needs to be a little more industrial, I have already busted up the plastic. Seems it does not like being dragged on hot concrete by the torch cable...

Sounds like you are putting it to good use and making money with it. I’d post a couple pics but my cell phones image resolution is to big for this web sight as well as most online forums.

As much as I hate google... I let it do the work for me
if you are using an android os phone just run the google photos app and set it to automatically upload pics to your free google pics account( note: limit data to wifi only if you don't have an unlimited plan )
From there you can just share the pics direct or save them from the photos.google.com site then they will post up fine in most all bbs software.
Thanks ronsii I've been meaning to do that. Just have not taken the time to learn the process. It's too late tonight so maybe tomorrow.

Buy yourself a small section of linear rail and block with a couple magnets on the end, a mount for the plasma torch and it will make you perfect straight cuts. Then you will be on your way next to a cnc table.

Ok ronsii I was able to just save the images to my mini iPad once in my google photos account in the cloud. Then upload them from the iPad mini to this forum just like you said “thumbs up”
Here is a couple pics I took on the phone while I was cutting up that 8”x9” plate into 4 even plates that will eventually hold some harbor freight casters. I’m not making perfect cuts but for some one not practicing much I’d have to say I’m doing pretty good and I can only get better.
Jaws maybe you can post a link or an image or two of the rail thing you are talking about. EDIT: I just googled liners rail. I never knew what that was until now.

Nice hand cuts, I noticed you have the drag nozzle on, you can try the standoff also which works real well.

Yeah for now I'm just using a guide fence and dragging the torch with the drag shield and 60a nozzle

Looking good!
The hardest part for me when hand cutting is keeping an even speed especially on thicker stuff!!!
I use two hands on the torch to keep the nozzle as true to 90 degrees in all directions as well as to keep the torch gliding along as smooth as I can get it to for now. I need a better , smoother rip fence so the cuts will be a bit cleaner on the edge. I’ll get a linear rail when my pockets are a little more deep.
I use my right hand to pull the trigger and torch and my left hand to hold the torch head near the nozzle area but not so close that I’m risking cutting into my self. This allows me to make a nice consistent movement with out any jerky starts or stops and makes it easier for me to prevent the torch from hanging up or snagging on any rough edges.

Anyone know what Error code E 010 means? found updated manual says Low output current I have tried 2 different guns one with cutting and one with gouging tip and still get same error with all new consumables. Think this is a machine problem?? it also flashes the new tip needed when it has all brand new consumables. same issue turned down to 40A

Just one error is way better than a bunch of codes popping up
I would lean towards a bad connection with reference to some of the things listed in n2's post. But knowing how they make the current sensors in those things that is the first thing I'd locate and check if it is in tolerance.

A couple weeks of OA this is the reason I have more than one plasma being a hi-tech device in my mind they're always just one flip of the switch away from being a paper weight!!!

Yeah, you got that right!!!! things used to be built to last a lifetime.... so you could hand it down to your children although in todays hi tech stuff I suspect that wouldn't really fly but still they could design them to last more than 6 months....
