    The guy heard you get all the fun jobs and wanted to keep you happy. Figured you could just bevel a little and weld it up with a 120V Harbor Freight flux core unit then grind until the bearing fit. Done and done.

    Heats bore to red in 30 seconds.

    Insert end.

    The new shaft and the thickness of the heads and roller keep the rubber from excess heat.
    This rubber can put up with a fair amount of heat...
    It's a hot glue squish roller for plywood.

    Was that roll being removed so it could
    be resurfaced? Rubber looks like operators
    used a razor knife to remove wraps/jams.
