    Lincoln Weldanpower Model # AC-225/DC-210/6

    16 hp B/S IC engine -
Father purchased brand new in 1983, used it occasionally but sat mostly in his garage until 2005 when he passed. I then rebuilt the carb, replaced fuel lines and filters put in a battery, new plug, changed the oil and fired it up for about 30 minutes, welded a metal bracket for a post and no issues with it. It has now sat in my garage for the last 13 years and hasn't been used since then, photos show the condition is pretty good for being that old

Its located in palm beach county Florida- $1000
I see a couple on ebay that are really beat up asking a grand, I truly have no idea what the value of this would be so I welcome any honest feedback regarding price But I guess I have to start somewhere

    Thanks for looking

You should ask for 1100.00$ - it has
    the original shipping skids . . .

it's to bad it's not the type i'm looking for, theirs a version( there are man many versions with several variations of faces & outlets) with a giant 230 plug thats 40 amps so later you can use it as a power source for other welders etc but i guess those are even older weldanpower units & i've seen them for every price under sun from cl to ebay but on ebay you need to check the box for "sold items" to see what they actually sell for on ebay very nice unit

It's a long shot (first post by the way), but would you still happen to have this machine and still want to sell?

I have had one of these machines for almost 30 years and they work very well. Mine is a 1986 model and it is still going strong.

I have one. Only downside is noise. It is a very good welding machine and a lot of poop on the generator. Mine will start a 5 hp motor. I have 3 other engine drives, a couple SA200 and another 8000 linc. I like the weld for general work on this one as good or better than the others. This machine is way better than its ratings but,,,,, set the knob to DC+ and bust it off so you not tempted to fool with it.

Cary, I noticed in another post that your Lincoln AC/DC 225/125 had the selector set to DC+. But the knob wasn't busted off. Lose your hammer?

I can resist the urge to move it,,, not everyone has my kind of discipline.
I just drug mine out of storage and fixed it up. Ran great for a few minutes when I tested it, when I put it to work found a couple small widgets give it some fits. The Maxstar has really retired it but I been carrying it around for show a little lately.
As for price,,, I have seen a couple of these for sale over the years, probably not as many low hours as this one but between 700 and 1000. They may have made a CC/CV version too but don't recall. This is about the cheapest DC engine drive they made at the time I think,,, or at least one of them but it never gave me any problem I didn't do to it.
It will take a box of 5/32 lohy a day if a guy can do it. Ran power from it once for 2 or 3 weeks. Hooked a 55 gallon barrel to it for fuel. Its got a small tank, was designed for utility and with intermittent welding last near 1/2 a day but I had another 8 gallon I put on top of it a couple times I was working it hard to make a day. I just changed the spark plug, it was OEM.

Its old,,, old machines have old wire etc and stuff comes loose but as for a quality of machine it wouldn't scare me to buy one if I needed an engine drive.
Seems to me maybe Rocky D bought one.

Another downside is the 240 recept is 240, its not 120/240. I agree someone should snag it. Its a simple machine. Despite that it has a lot of power.
