Duties & Responsibilities
 Performs welding, repair and fabrication
 Able to sit for extended periods of time, walk, stand, climb, and reach
 Ability to perform extensive physical activities of a primarily productive/technical nature (i.e.
walking, reaching, bending, lifting, carrying)
 Use of both arms and hands required
 Visual acuity, finger dexterity, color discernment
 Occasionally work in conditions typical of a manufacturing environment, including noise,
extreme temperatures and humidity, odors, dust, etc.
 Work performed near moving mechanical parts, in the presence of welding fumes or airborne
particles, and loud noises associated with manufacturing.
 Assists Shop Manager as needed
 May make emergency roadside repairs as needed
 Performs general clean-up of work areas
 Follows safety policies and procedures as written
 40 hours per week and overtime on an as needed basis
 Work is performed 50% outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather and 50%
indoors
 Communicate with mechanics and plant manager to ensure adherence to preventative
equipment maintenance policies and practices
 Perform other job responsibilities as assigned by management

Job Requirements:
 Climbing up & down ladder throughout the day
 Sitting, standing and moving throughout the day
 Squatting and stretching (ability to inspect undercarriage condition of vehicle)
 Must be able to read, write, and speak English (Bilingual a plus)
 Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing regularly
 Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently,
and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly
 Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to pushing,
turning, and/or pulling of controls
 Ability to work 8-12 hours/day as necessary
