The very thread is still in the main forum and was closed by a mod. Not us. I think that disproves your statement. DSW's (rest his soul) post actually contradicts your assertion. Really. Read what you post before you try to prove a point with it. The thread reference within the thread had last post deletions because the guy spammed the thread and he posted his and others from Everlast's personal contact information (witlessly) on the internet and reposted it and reposted it for the most part. That was the only reason it was deleted. The thread is still there btw. I didn't say we didn't edit, but I can assure you it doesn't affect the content of the complaint.

Yep that sounds like the best idea, although the offensive defense lug nuts always has to any doubters is probably the green machines worst enemy, being in the building trades for more than 30 years you learn how to weed out blowhards or guys that try to knock their competition, lowest bid don't always get the job, that said I was thinking about a 325 or 350 green machines but it seems like they haven't changed their ways as far as service or they have a few rogue employees that haven't learned the first rule of business "the customer is always right" and not "let the buyer beware"

It's nice to be able to see reviews and recommendations on the web for things nowadays but sometimes it takes a bit of work to sort through the bs because some folks really flip when things don't go their way. I recently read a bad review this woman wrote for a resturant because she said her husband got a bad bellyache from eating too many pancakes, she said they should have given him the short stack instead of the tall because it was too much bread.

Almost all of reviews of anything, anyplace, etc, will be the bad reviews. Seems like people only post reviews when they are unhappy, satisfied customers don't post as many positive comments as unsatisfied consumers post negative comments. Just human nature.

You really can't weld with an Everlast machine, period! Except I just finished, and completely welded, this 25' skiff with GASP! an Everlast 275P:

Nice I find I can do a decent job on Al as long as I set up guides as my hands aren't as steady as they need to be at the higher tranel rates

If it were true, he'd have something to complain about and I'd agree if I were treated like that. But nothing was censored, and he was not banned from posting and he says, without explanation, he wants his money back. That is motivation for posting. He doesn't say what happened or what is wrong and has not replied to attempts to reach out. He has avoided the very questions.

Well theres an old saying " perception IS reality ".
I would think that everlast would be better off returning his money as these types of
threads do nothing to help the " perception " of everlast as a company. And they seem to spread like wildfire
among the welding community. Wouldn't you rather have a customer spreading the word of how good he was
treated as opposed to how bad he was treated ? Again, in the real world " perception is reality "
Im sure the profit margins are high enough to take a hit once in a while just to prevent this type of thing
and most likely have a customer praising how well he was treated instead of creating perceived company shadiness,
wether the issues are truth or lie.
