    Wedding Or Event Ring

I did this for a friend after work in a few hours. They use them at weddings or events. It is aluminum, 3/4" pipe. I rolled it with a manual Harbor Freight pipe roller. I then welded it to some cut-offs of a large U-channel. It came out great. The trick is rolling a half-turn of the wheel and then straightening the pipe in the roller. It tends to walk one way or the other.

The ring splits between the angles so you can screw it through tight openings. There is a butt pipe welded at one end of the pipe. Try not to get too excited about "butt pipe", haha I miss you guys been crazy busy.

After I welded in the butt pipe, I rolled it again over the joint and it came out almost perfect.

The next day I sanded it down and then painted it. A lot of work for a hoop but it does look nice.

When I read the title, I was thinking something to wear on the finger. Then I put my cursor over the title to read the first few lines and wondered why you needed a pipe bender for this. So I opened the thread to see what it was about & it became more apparent. One thing that came to mind to really set one off is to have it with a series of tiny holes drilled around the outside perimeter(or inside) and run LP gas through it to have small jets of flame shooting out of them. Obviously ONLY for outdoor use, but that would be an even more unique twist on something like this. It also put me in mind of the old Johnny Cash song, Burning Ring of Fire. That might be something good to play at one of these event with one of them burning.

How does that idea sound, pretty HOT, HUH?
