Sa 200 rheostat question.

Basically, is there a way to take one apart? Have one around that has a broken ceramic nut. I have another ceramic nut. I want to pull the thing apart so I have a working rheostat. Would seem silly to not be able to replace that nut. And up here a new rheo is like $300
