3/4 inch wide blade will work on ellis 1600, I think?

Bought a used 1600 ellis bandsaw last year. Came with 12 blades. 7 were 3/4" . Today, I finally decided to tried one, since no takers on multiple attempts to sell them. The teeth track right at the edge of the wheels. Had to completely remove the auto shut off screw. It still shuts off automatically. The screw fits in one do the vice mounting holes, so I will be able to find .

Will see how long it last.

I believe grizzly has saw with 3/4x 120"blade.

A 3/4" blade will most likely tear up the tires on the wheels, especially the drive wheel.

There is about 1/16 inch between the teeth an the tire. No visible wear.?

I did not realize it was rubber.

Ellis specifies 1" for the 1600. Never seen a way that you could tweak things so you could run 3/4" blades on the things.

Though, a thought, their 1200 and 1500 models are supposed to run a 5/8" blade. You might be able to swap some parts out so you can run your 3/4" blades, but then you have to wonder about the cost/benefit. 7 good blades sure are pricey and I'd hate to not be able to use them. If you could swap out a few pieces on the saw for pennies, relatively, it might be worth it.
