    Howdy

    Hello from western Pennsylvania!

New to the forums, but not new to welding...kind of. I'm not a professional welder, have never had a welding class, but I have a Lincoln MP210 I bought a few years ago and have been using it with FC wire for all my welding needs (mainly 1/8" stuff with a couple 3/16" pieces here and there).

Looking forward to reading and learning!

Welcome MetalMasher. I'm new here, too. Wondered what part of SW PA? I grew up in Washington county, but in 1989 moved to Virginia to find steady work...

Yes, Lincoln NR211, both .030 and .035. I also have some .023 I got from Tractor Supply (I think it was Hobart E71T-11). Interesting to use after the bigger wire. I should have gotten a bottle of gas ong before now, but honestly, everything I've needed to do has worked fine with fluxcore. A gas bottle is coming though, my son got his hands on a 1980 Mercury Capri that we're just starting to fix up, so MIG will be handy.

I'm more north western, about 2 hours north of Pittsburgh (Venango county). I'm not originally from here. I grew up in Daytona Beach, FL. My wife is from PA and years ago we decided to move here when I retired from the Air Force, and well, here we are! I love the colder weather and the snow. I'll take it over the heat and humidity any day.
